Position Details
The Customer Service Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the success of Davis Door. This role’s main objectives are to assist the customer by understanding their needs and correctly routing them to the person who can help them as well being an active and cooperative team member.

This role is very customer focused, and whether you are taking information for a service, assisting the customer with their issue, or following up on the billing after the service is completed, our number one goal is that our customer has a positive experience.
This is an in-person position and can be a fast-paced role. The role requires a positive person who can learn and retain how our processes work and is willing to collaborate to improve processes. Being able to stay focused and motivated to support the team and our customers is key. We are willing to teach and coach, and are looking for someone who fits our culture with the ability and willingness to learn.
Primary Duties
- Lead position on incoming calls and Customer Service requests.
- Create new service calls and estimate requests, as well as verify customer details
- Ensure communication is directed to the proper team members.
- Serve as a backup to the coordinators as needed.
- Take the lead for the Ped. group email and ensure prompt responses.
- Support the division manager on misc. projects or tasks.
- Assist in other administrative tasks as needed.

- Excellent Customer Service skills both on the phone and in person
- A sense of personal responsibility, and a passion for the success of the business
- Punctual and holds a professional demeanor
- Team oriented
- Ability to stay organized and on task in a fast paced environment
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite

Reporting Relationships
Davis Door Service is one company with multiple branches. This structure allows us to serve our customers effectively and responsively. The Customer Service Specialist reports to the Ped Team Lead as well as the Pedestrian Division Manager.
