We are currently looking to fill the position of:

Customer Service Specialist

• Monday thru Friday 8am to 4:30pm

The Customer Service Specialist will provide a higher level of customer support by interacting with customer freight needs by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.

Duties/Responsibilities of the Customer Service Specialist:

• Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on freight movements.
• Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
• Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
• Uses knowledge of freight movement to answer inquiries or to forward to the appropriate staff.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities of Dispatcher - Customer Service:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn freight movement industry.
• Proficient with or able to quickly learn dispatch and recordkeeping systems.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and under pressure.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ Customer service experience required.
• Some experience with freight movement preferred.

Salary: $20.00- $23.00 per hour DOE
