Customer Service Overview:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Open the phone lines at 8:00 AM and close at 5:00 PM
- Answer calls from the public in a timely, professional manner, and redirect caller to appropriate staff or take accurate messages
- Enter data into Case Worthy
- Provide basic and accurate information
- Stay informed of CSD services
- Research and retrieve data when necessary
- Attend weekly meetings to discuss processes
- Attend professional development classes in an effort to remain current and relevant in the Customer Service field
- Special projects as assigned

Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Two (2) years of Customer Service experience
- Two (2) years of clerical experience
- Two (2) years of data entry experience
- Valid Driver’s License (Texas upon hire)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to perform duties in a professional, ethical, and responsible manner.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to operate a multi-line phone system.
- Ability to use web browsers effectively.
- Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to display punctuality, congeniality, dependability, and efficiency.
- Strong communication skills, people skills, and problem-solving skills.

General Information
- Full-Time | Regular
- Monday - Friday | 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- The job is performed in a professional office environment.
- This is primarily a sedentary role; however, working with files is required.
- Ability to lift up to 5 pounds and bend and stand as necessary.
- No special safety precautions are required.
Employment may be contingent on passing a drug screen and meeting other standards.
