- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to accurately type at least 40 words per minute.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, adhering to North American business standards. This includes a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and spelling, and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal forms.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to actively listen and empathize with customers.
- Preferred: Minimum of three months of Customer Service experience.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively, including managing multiple claims and inquiries simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and managing time efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills, essential for effective claims adjudication.
- Basic understanding of Customer Service practices and call control.
- Upholds a high level of integrity, ensuring fairness and impartiality in the adjudication process.
- Exceptional motivation and dedication to the role, focusing on efficient and accurate claims processing.
- Ability to navigate multiple software applications and systems simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing multiple email inquiries and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Basic understanding or aptitude to learn industry-specific concepts and terminology, particularly in relation to insurance and claims management.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must work onsite at our Houston, Texas center – remote work is not an option.
