POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT
The Customer Service Account Representative Manages the day-to-day activity of specific clients assigned to them. The account representative will develop relationships with their clients and learn the specific needs of each client, allowing the representative to be a dependable trusted source of information for their business. The representative will coordinate their Purchase orders through logistical planning and oversee the completion of said orders. This is a relationship building and order coordination position.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contract review incoming purchase orders.
- Enter incoming purchase orders accurately.
- Release and wave orders as assigned. Communicate with buyer as necessary to ensure product is purchased in a timely manner and communicate with clients how Flex technologies processes work.
- Provide customers with updates on delivery status. Notify customers of shipping delays in advance of due date.
- Coordinate with production and shipping managers to avoid late shipments.
- Communicate any special client requests or issues to Sales or Purchasing manager
- Follows up on the priority list to ensure all customer commitments are maintained.
- Respond to all emails same business day with a high level of detail.
- Import retail orders and manage shipments to ensure 72-hour shipping.
- Work directly with Sales department in development and maintenance of client accounts
- Learn the product line and have baseline understanding of product capabilities
Qualifications: Essential skills and experience
- Must have experience working in an office setting and interacting with customers
- Ability to effectively work as a member of a team and be able to work as a self starter without micromanagement.
- Must be detail and deadline oriented.
- Must possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
- Must have strong data entry skills.
- Must have ability to utilize common business software.
- Must be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Must be able to perform basic math.
- Must be able to accept constructive criticism and proceed with new expectations.
