EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE

The Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales position exists to field incoming calls for products, resolve Customer Service issues and to make effective outgoing sales calls to generate sales and revenue for the company. This position also has some responsibility for warehouse operations functions.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Field incoming calls from customers looking for specific products based on year, make, model and type of vehicle
• Field incoming calls relating to general Customer Service issues and find solutions that promptly and effectively fit the customer’s needs
• Make effective outgoing sales calls to current and prospective customers
• Review current customer accounts to discover new sales opportunities
• Pull product and prepare orders from the warehouse for customer pickup and company delivery

• Previous Customer Service experience required.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Good active listening skills
• Organization and time management
• Proficient Microsoft Office computer skills
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
• Familiarity with auto parts products a plus
• Knowledge of inventory-based software desired

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday from approx. 8AM – 5PM

• 75% Office setting - moderate noise, ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended period of time
• 25% Work in an open warehouse environment

• Ability to consistently lift up to 25 lbs and up to 70 lbs. occasionally
• The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs
• The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) or at a distance
• The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
• The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp manipulate, or assemble objects.
• Ability to climb 12-14 ft platform ladders
• Ability to run, maneuver, navigate or drive a vehicle
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
