Primary Responsibilities (Job Duties)
You Will:
- Answer inbound calls from insurance agents, insurance companies, and insureds
- Provide premium finance account-related information to customers via phone, email, and fax and document accounts with all communication details
- Update customer records upon request
- Reissue notices as needed
- Assist customers making phone and online payments
- Provide payoff balance information
- Make outbound courtesy calls
- Manage incoming correspondence to keep account information up to date
- Coordinate with other departments when problem-solving
- Build and maintain individual knowledge of premium finance regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of position
- Recognize critical issues and escalate appropriately
- Actively participate in company's efforts to detect and prevent fraud to mitigate losses
- Strengthen customer relationships by providing professional, pleasant, and positive interactions with our company
- Prepare complete loan packages and process new accounts
- Properly identify and apply customer payments to loans (physical checks and electronic payments), reverse, re-apply, and/or return payments as required, and reconcile daily deposit
- Assist in issuance and mailing of daily notices
You Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a business-related field, or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience in insurance or finance-related industry
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet
- Experience working on the Input One (PBS) platform
- Experience working in the Insurance Premium Finance Industry
- Office365 (SharePoint, OneNote, Drive, Box, Skype Meeting)
- Previous cash-handling experience
- Strong oral and written communications skills to correspond with parties at various levels
- Attention to detail and accuracy when relaying and recording information
- Quick-thinking, with developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Planning and organizing to achieve timely follow-up and problem resolution
- Ability to multi-task on a variety of projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality
