PART TIME OR FULL TIME
North Torrington Veterinary Hospital is a quaint little hospital in the scenic Northwest Corner of CT and we are seeking an experienced Veterinary CSR/Receptionist. We are seeking a kind, compassionate & detail oriented person who will shine as the first impression of our fantastic hospital. We want someone who will support our wonderful team of Veterinary professionals as well as making sure the clients have a positive experience.
Our ideal candidate will have the ability to remain calm during emotional and stressful situations, as well as the ability to handle patients on a leash or in a carrier. The candidate must be friendly, courteous, professional and love working with clients and their pets. Experience with Cornerstone is a plus, but not required.

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Greet and check in client and their pets- Schedule appointments & manage appointment calendar
- Answer Phones
- Collect payments for services rendered
- Provide a variety of clerical & Customer Service in support of the staff & hospital
- Knowledge of basic Veterinary Terminology
QUALIFICATIONS:
Exceptional Customer Service & communication skills- Multitask efficiently & effectively
- Have good attention to detail
- High School Diploma or GED
- Have Empathy for clients & patients
EXPERIENCE:
1 or more years experience
Must be able to work some Saturdays
