Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering exceptional Customer Service; keenly focused on accuracy, detail, and resolution of drivers’, sub-haulers’, clients', customers’, and business partners’ inquiries in line with business objectives.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Professional and prompt inbound and outbound call handling; note and alert Dispatch when necessary
- Maintain Customer Service email inboxes including but not limited to order entry, dispatching, and client support
- Communicate with drivers to confirm pickup and deliveries are being successfully executed
- Audit drivers pay requests for accuracy
- Process sub-hauler invoices
- Process vehicles that transport to or from the headquarters, noting and submitting damage reports when necessary
- Support Dispatch with reporting
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Customer Service or a related field is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills
- Experience with data entry, high volume phone calls, and Customer Servicerequired
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Must have high attention to detail and consistency in work
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with general direction from the position supervisor
Pay Range: $19-$21/Hour + Overtime (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, rotating Saturday 8AM – 12PM (every 4-6 weeks)
