Our agency is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team full-time, with the opportunity of a bonus program. Our Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional Customer Service while processing and servicing a specific area of our agency's book of business. Type of Position: Flexible up to 40 Hours a week - Vacation Time and Paid Holidays
Qualifications:
20-44 Insurance License (in office & Hybrid), 4-40 Insurance License or 2-20 License is Preferred (in office & Hybrid)
Microsoft Office computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) are highly preferred
Background in Customer Service, insurance and sales are highly preferred
Ambitious professional who is motivated by opportunity for advancement
Active listening and critical thinking skills to quickly analyze and clearly understand specific requests for customer needs
Experience:
Insurance experience 2-3+ years (preferred)

Responsibilities
This Customer Service position is specifically centered around a specific portion of our agency book of business requiring additional processing at renewal. Each day will require calls to clients currently in the process of renewing their policy as well as answering any incoming calls from current clients. A renewal list will be provided to the Customer Service Representative so the renewals can be followed in a chronological fashion. Timely follow up and detailed notation is imperative. This position works closely with the agency owners.
Requirements
Calling clients regarding insurance policies and required information to process/ maintain these policies.
Notating and following up on all policy and renewals to completion.
Ability to build relationships with customers
Processing policy changes & mortgagee clause changes
Collecting payments on all policies.
Provide documents to mortgage companies for home closings
Marketing new business and renewals/crosselling
Answering the phones and answering client questions regarding their policies
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be skilled in organizing the workday efficiently while multi-tasking. Considerable ability to review policy and client information while conversing over the phone is a must. All team members are required to compose notes regarding all client correspondence and complete appropriate follow ups to complete pending tasks.
