Customer Service Representative
Do you enjoy helping others? Are you a fast learner? Walker Edison is currently looking for Customer Service Representatives to round out our Customer Service team! Our Customer Service position is unlike the call center position you may be used to. We work mainly with partner web portals and email, as well as assist with Customer Service phone calls.
This individual will work closely with sales, accounting, and our shipping departments. The ideal candidate will be able to ensure our customers' needs are met and issues are resolved timely and accurately.
This is how you can contribute to our success:
- Respond to customer inquiries inbound/outbound calls and email using proper grammar and etiquette.
- Process parts requests and answer questions through online portals.
- Ensure customers receive missing/damaged parts quickly and accurately.
- Work with the accounting and sales teams to process credits as necessary.
- Submit claims with shipping carriers.
- Creating Weekly Shipping Reports for our parts department.
- Responsible for superior Customer Service, technical assistance, and resolving escalated situations.
- Comply with attendance and punctuality policy
- Process customer returns for Walker Edison partners.
Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office experience is required
- Must provide excellent Customer Service to both customers and employees
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional accuracy/attention to detail
- Preferred Zendesk experience
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve successfully in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
- Must have the ability to prioritize, exercise good judgment, handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work extended hours when needed
- Positive attitude & extremely motivated
- Display a pleasant, friendly style, and a professional image.
- NetSuite experience a plus, but not required.
- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish), is a plus
Hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in office required.
