Customer Service Representative

Job Summary: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the primary point of contact between ALIGN PRECISION - Cedar City and the customer. They serve as the coordinator to help resolve any problems and provide status and commitments based on MTI’s ERP systems. They work closely with other members of the Customer Service Team, specifically Program Managers, to meet the customer needs through clear and timely communication and accurate reporting.

Essential Functions

1. Manage reports and communicate status as per the customer needs:
   1. Customer Meetings: As per the customers need. Includes Conference Calls, Onsite meetings, and Offsite Meetings.
   2. Emails: Answer emails in a timely manner. Solve the problems.
   3. CSTOPs: Weekly
   4. Reconcile: Bi-weekly
   5. MTI Reports: Weekly (Want vs. Ship Report, Scrap Report, WIP Excess Report, Non-Support Shortage Report, Tools Customer TLSCUS)
   6. Past Dues: Monthly
   7. Gray Orders: Monthly
   8. Contesting Late Deliveries: As per the customers need
   9. Manage Score Cards: As per the customers need

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Good negotiation skills to work with different departments and customers
• Ability to coordinate with a small group of coworkers
• Positive attitude even under stressful situations
• Strong computer skills necessary; including familiarity with Excel and Power Bi
• Ability to navigate MRP systems (such as Visual)
• Working knowledge of customer specifications and requirements
• Working knowledge of ALIGN’s traveler (router, bill of materials, etc.)
• Mastery of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions)
• Working knowledge of Employee Handbook

Work Schedule:

• Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Occasional Saturday’s
• Overtime options as work demands
