Customer Service Representative

Advent Home Medical is a leading home health care provider specializing in the care of ventilator dependent patients. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for rendering superb Customer Service, answering the main phone line, receiving, qualifying, and processing all customer orders in a timely, efficient, accurate, and courteous manner.

Responsibilities:

• Answers incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Prepares and/or obtains appropriate documents associated with customer orders including but not limited to: new patient information, prescription, CMN, letter of medical necessity, insurance verification, equipment supply list, and enters new patients into Brightree.
• Generates new client setup orders / monthly reorders.
• Responds to customer inquiries, with regards to appropriateness, availability, and coverage guidelines of equipment / supplies.
• Answers billing questions where applicable. .
• Makes calls to try and obtain problem CMN’s for Billing.
• Facilitates customer complaints / order errors.
• Participates in scheduled staff meetings and training programs.
• Maintains regular and ongoing communication with all other departments as necessary.
• Performs all job duties in safe, orderly, timely, and courteous manner.
• Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned by executive leadership team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Data Entry experience
• Typing and 10 key skills
• Excellent phone and customer relations skills
• Detail Oriented
• Must be able to Multi task
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited High School

Job Type: Full-time
