Utility - Customer Service
SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor, with a dotted line to Customer Service Leads for day to day operations, performs a variety of office and clerical duties involving customers, customer information, and customer account servicing.
QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of training and experience equivalent to a high school diploma, plus at least two years of experience in an office environment. Bi-lingual is a plus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Attends to walk-in customers by answering questions, directing to other personnel or recording payment.
- Processes connect and disconnect service orders.
- Updates customer database concerning connects, disconnects, shut-offs, and name changes.
- Reconciles cash drawer for register on a daily basis and prepares bank deposit.
- Maintains landlord signed order files.
- Coordinates budget billing authorization.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT
Must physically reside within a thirty (30) minute response time from their primary duty station.
HOURS
40 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
