Job Duties:
The primary job task will be the electronic entry of sample orders. Sample orders are received by email
and occasionally over the phone. Samples requests are received from a variety of sources – designers,
end users, homeowners, vice presidents, architectural representatives, and internal sales employees
associated with our company.
Sample orders are shipped out of warehouses across the country. The right candidate for this job should organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to think quickly in stressful situations, and will be able to monitor the progress of their order throughout the entire process – from order entry, to shipment at the warehouse, to receipt at the job site or store. The right candidate will be cooperative, organized,
and detail-oriented, with the ability to think quickly in stressful situations.
The Samples Representative will work to familiarize themselves with our internal order system, XCER.
The Samples Representative will also need to familiarize themselves with dropbox to share files with
customers, clients, and fellow employees.
The Samples Representative will maintain a good working relationship with the customers and the sales staff, making sure to respond in a timely fashion to all sample order requests and inquiries.
The Samples Representative will work in a team of Customer Service Representatives, so the ability to
pitch in and help when needed is a must. The Samples Representative may be asked to cover for
Customer Service Representatives who are out of the office, when there is a need.
The Samples Representative will develop a close working relationship with some of our sales
representatives during their time with the Company, and will be expected to maintain a good
professional relationship with the sales team. The Samples Representative will input sample orders, and work with clients to process orders.
