Customer Service Representative

The Matthew Ditzenberger Agency with American Family Insurance is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR). As a CSR, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional service and support to our valued clients. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping customers navigate the insurance landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing accurate information about insurance products, coverage options, and claims procedures.
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate insurance plans, making policy changes, and processing renewals, while adhering to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provide prompt and efficient resolution to customer concerns, complaints, and issues, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to enhance customers' insurance coverage and ensure their evolving needs are met.
• Maintain accurate and updated customer records and policy documentation using our CRM system.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a Customer Service role, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle difficult customer situations with tact and empathy.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload effectively.
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding Customer Service and building positive relationships with customers.
• Property and Casualty and Life insurance licensing is preferred before starting and is required after beginning employment.
