The Customer Service Manager candidate we seek will be responsible for the daily operations, coordination, and evaluation of Customer Service and the team of Customer Service Representatives. This role includes scheduling representatives, resolving emergency issues, implementing training and quality assurance programs, establishing performance expectations, and preparing reports for management on a variety of metrics.

The incumbent will possess at least three years of Customer Service experience with additional management experience preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in Business or in Management is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and related working experience.

The successful candidate must possess strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate must also exhibit a solid grasp of computer systems and applications such as MS Office, email, web browsers, and similar business productivity programs and must have the ability to learn new software programs. Demonstrated related working experience is required. Knowledge of the natural gas industry is a bonus but not required.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.

ORUD pays 100% of pension contributions; and pays 100% of the premiums for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, for both the employee and all eligible dependents (spouse/child(ren)).

Salary: $18.75 per hour (up to $23.56 per hour, depending on experience)
