Are you well-organized, motivated, and want to be part of a dynamic sales team? Perma-Fix is looking for a Sales Account Manager/Customer Service Rep in our Business Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Candidate must be energetic, friendly, dependable, and professional with a polite demeanor and positive attitude.
FUNCTION:
EXEMPT. This person will work existing accounts and be responsible for forecasting revenue for the existing client base; directing, managing, and evaluating accounts; seeking new opportunities and once identified, communicating/working directly with the facility operations management to get the waste in the door. In addition to supporting sales activities, this position will also support marketing activities.
DUTIES:
• Communicate with clients by phone, through email and face-to-face meetings to ensure client's needs are understood and met.
• Build strong client relationships to maintain current business levels and acquire new clients to facilitate growth.
• Perform activities associated with receipt of shipments into the four fixed based treatment facilities to include:
o Assist with profile creation, distribution, and completion/modification for acceptance.
o Input shipment information into CRM and assist with maintaining the sales forecast.
• Assist in the development of proposals and quotes.
• Support customer service needs for all existing accounts as needed.
• Coordinate with the fixed based treatment facility customer service personnel to obtain any information required to facilitate shipments into the facilities, obtain waste status, certificate of management (COM) and certificate of disposal (COD), specialized waste treatment reports, etc.
• Assist in the management and coordination of tradeshows, conferences, marketing literature, and the procurement of giveaways for all key industry events.
• Travel to customer sites and trade shows to represent the Waste Services Division.
• Other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office environment, some light lifting, bending and reaching necessary. Job will require sitting approximately six to seven hours per day.

Requirements
• Proficiency in the following MS applications: Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Good Communication skills, both written and oral.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience with a minimum of 3 years supporting business development operations.
• US citizenship required.
Salary Description
$50,000 - 70,000 Annually
