Job Duties
The Senior Buyer will plan, select, and purchase quality products and services in accordance with the Bill of Materials demand from the ERP system, Approved Purchase Requisitions, or as directed by the Purchasing Manager. The Senior Buyer will use best practices to negotiate pricing and lead times. The Senior Buyer builds, develops, and maintains supplier relationships assuring that the right strategies are in place to support production. The Senior Buyer will maintain Item Card information and Purchase Orders, reporting any exceptions to the schedule or unfavorable price to management. The Senior Buyer will ensure that Key Performance Indicators are improved upon, goals are achieved, and objectives met as set by management.
Responsibilities:
Attend customer meetings.
Take meeting notes.
Record and follow up on action items.
· Provide status updates to customers.
Communicate revised schedules.
Communicate what parts we are missing.
Document issues with jobs.
· Assist with quoting
Maintain quote log.
Quotation data entry.
Enter quotes in QMS and provide BV team with required files.
Potentially expand into the technical side of quoting depending on ability and demand.
Track down hard to find components.

Reporting
· Inventory Reports
· Customer owned inventory
· Inventory held for customers to meet requirements.
· Customer Material Deposit Tracking and Reporting
· Allocation to production as required
· Invoicing reporting
· Monitoring customer survey activity as it affects any ratings and rankings of our performance.
· Reports for sales and production teams.
New Customer
· Complete customer documentation.

Skills & Qualification Requirements
· Manufacturing experience is a plus
· Microsoft Office skills
· Ability to create and maintain Excel reports
· Excellent communication skills a must
Experience
· 3 years’ experience in Customer Service role.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
