Customer Service Accounts- Personal Lines

Canandaigua Insurance Agency, LLC is a well-established insurance agency located in Canandaigua New York. Our agency is looking to add a Personal Lines Account rep to our Personal Lines team. This position is responsible for providing prompt, accurate, courteous service to customers, producers and company personnel for existing Personal accounts.

Job requirements and Qualifications

* Experience as a Property and Casualty Personal Lines account rep with knowledge of Personal insurance and products. The preferred candidates will have a minimum two years’ experience.

* P&C license preferred.

* Knowledge of computer systems and operations (Applied, Epic)

* Have the capacity, ability and willingness to learn and improve.

* Be a good listener and communicate effectively.

* Ability to work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Dedicated to high ethical standard, empathy, tolerance, kindness and professionalism.

Essential job responsibilities

* Grow and develop talents and insurance knowledge to highest level possible.

* Provide, with a positive attitude, a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing commercial accounts.

* Service Personal Lines accounts as assigned.

* Collect premiums per established agency procedures.

* At the direction of producer, prepare company submissions for new business quotes and prepare proposals of insurance for Personal Lines clients, including visits to clients with producer when requested.

* Initiate and prepare endorsement requests for Personal Lines clients.

* Setup and prepare new account files per agency procedures.

* Prepare account summaries as required.

* Prepare ID cards, evidence of property, certificates and binders.

* Maintain all client activity in the agency automation system.

* Service Personal Lines accounts in a manner to eliminate gaps in coverage, thus reducing our E&O exposures.

* Prioritize work load and/or request assistance as required.

* Meet with clients to discuss and handle their insurance needs.

* Keep producers fully informed of all-important activities on their accounts.

* Assume other job responsibilities as assigned by office manager.

• Yes (2-Days a week) - Upon acclimation to agency procedures and complete understanding of Agency Management System.
