Account Management/Customer Service Representative

Summary: Responsible for acting as a liaison between customers and the production staff by understanding the needs of the customer and sharing those requirements with the production staff by forming a relationship with both the customer and the internal staff. This role will be responsible for selling additional products to existing customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Service:

• Composes, prepares, and proofreads correspondence, office memos and reports on computer and maintains confidentiality when required.
• Creates and maintains proper response letters on computer for various incoming correspondence.
• Maintains files in an organized and accessible manner to include updating information, purging files on a regular basis and creating new filing systems as needed.
• Maintains files in an accurate and easy to access manner.
• Evaluate and write work jacket and art jacket.
• Enter order information into the in-house computer system.
• Processes customer information on computer system in an efficient manner to provide quality service.
• Analyze customer records on computer system and make any corrections and/or modifications within company guidelines.
• Build and maintain quality relationships with customers.
• Quote jobs to customers over the phone or by email.
• Contact customers to obtain missing information or data to ensure files are complete.
• Confirm and coordinate shipping instructions with the packaging supervisor.
• Verify and confirm delivery date and shipping method.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Gain solid understanding of the technical aspects of labels and shrink sleeves.

Education/Experience: A high school education (graduate or GED); no experience needed, but an ability and desire to learn is imperative. Printing, especially labels and packaging printing experience is a PLUS!

Language Ability:Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Ability to write and communicate effectively and professionally with customers is required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding and follow instructions.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical and non-mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the environment is moderate. The employee must be safety oriented and willing to follow all Safety Rules and Accident Reporting policies. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is generally required to sit at a desk, have the dexterity to use a keyboard and the visual ability for close work as well as the ability to adjust focus.

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: $18 - 20 an hour (DOE)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
