Job Summary:   Devo seeks a Customer Enablement Engineer to partner with Devo’s Education and Training team to promote the effective design, development, and creation of innovative enablement content for channel partners and for enterprise customers adopting the Devo Platform and suite of products. This individual will report to the Customer Experience organization at Devo.   Responsibilities:   
  • Enable Devo’s customers and partners (engineering and operations roles) to adapt their skillsets to more seamlessly adopt the Devo Platform into their core technology stack.
  • Create compelling enablement experiences to promote industry best practices–effective siem data hygiene, development of scalable workflows for incident response, etc.
  • Provide technical guidance, advice, and counsel to channel partners and customers; automate content where/when possible.
  •  Candidates will be able to align Devo education content with customer use cases, skills and abilities.
  • Create practice exercises that produce customers’ desired outcomes while avoiding common points of friction: e.g. creating monthly reporting that executes quickly on schedules; create new fields from unparsed data; create alerts without false positives; query large data efficiently at scale
  • Create practical exercises that encourage customers to become reliant on the product 
  • Partner with Go-To-Market and Customer Success teams to design an effective Partner Enablement program for Devo’s partners

 

Requirements:   
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral, and an ability to communicate complex ideas cross-functionally
  • Strong technical fundamentals in a relevant part of IT and/or Security ecosystems.
  • Programming or scripting language is a plus. 

 

Compensation:  This role will have a general pay range of $114,000.00 to $160,000.00.  The provided base salary range is what we expect to pay a substantially qualified candidate, with final offer being based on the candidate’s relevant experience and skills, as well as location and other factors.  Total compensation for the role will include base salary, as well as a bonus or commission target and an equity grant applicable to the level of the role.    Why work at Devo?
