Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in
US, California:$63,000.00-$166,000.00
Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
Job Description:
In this position you will be contributing on innovative development and challenging problem solving of Signal Integrity with Intel's customers and will execute the following:
- Develops and improves upon Signal Integrity collateral to be provided for use by industry leading data center and artificial intelligence focused customers.
- Delivers Signal Integrity solutions for large, complex platforms, boards, and packages.
- Applies knowledge of Signal Integrity design and tradeoffs to refine Signal Integrity rules, reviews implementation, documents characterization and measurement reports.
- Collaborates with various design and silicon integration teams to ensure the platform level solution space meets targeted product landing zone requirements and minimize quality degradation (e.g., attenuation, crosstalk, jitter, power noise) and cost.
- Creates documentation and training material as outlined above as well as for the internal processes therein.
- Analyzes comparative quality of various high-speed interfaces in pursuit of the identification of maximally impactful optimizations within the confines of scheduling constraints.

- Strong documentation, communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent capacity for and ability to demonstrate networking and teamwork.
- Understanding of electrical schematics
- PC architecture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with one or more coding languages such as Python, VBA, Matlab
- Familiarity with collaborative tools and ticketing systems such as GitHub and JIRA
- Familiarity with SPICE, CAD and field solving tools.
- Familiarity with processor interfaces such as DDR4/5, PCIe3/4/5/6, eSPI/SPI, I2C/I3C, and JTAG.
