General Description
Advocate Health Advisors is seeking an experienced Credit Union / Community Bank Liaison (CU/CBL) who will build and maintain mutual relationships between local banks to the Medicare space. Based in Venice, Florida, Advocate Health Advisors was formed in 2005 to enhance the Medicare experience for Americans across the country.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for networking with external referral sources to serve as an in-market liaison between Credit Unions, local banks, local licensed insurance agents & the community. Will develop and leverage community ties to educate professionals and clients on a variety of topics including pathways to Medicare Advantage, ACA, MAPD and other services.

Responsibilities
- Establish, foster, and maintain network of strong relationships with Credit Unions / community banks, and other financial institutions.
- Participate in professional organizations to stay abreast of industry trends, add value to organization, as well as develop external relationships and referral sources.
- Participate in community events and activities, educate prospects, clients, and members on products and services.
- Regularly leads educational meetings in a group setting as well as an individual setting.
- Work with agents to educate beneficiaries thoroughly and make appropriate plan recommendations to meet client needs.
- Assist in the development of marketing plans to increase Medicare agent opportunities.
- Conduct Medicare 101 educational classes as well as one-on-one coaching sessions to prepare and enable prospects and customers for Medicare eligibility.
- Maintain relationships with all carrier partners.
- Comply with all regulatory compliance requirements.
- Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate Advocate’s commitment to superior service, including quality, care and concern with every internal and external agent and customer.
- Collaborate with other professionals cross-functionally to ensure carrier guidelines are being clearly communicated.
- Additional opportunities to manage projects and improve processes as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in the Credit Union / banking industry.
- 3+ years of experience in the Medicare or health care industry.
- Active Health & Life Insurance Licenses or willingness to obtain in the first 90 -days of employment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional time management and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the Credit Union / Banking industry.
- 5+ years of Medicare industry or Healthcare related industry experience.
- Active Health & Life Insurance Licenses.
- Bilingual in English with the ability to speak, read and write Spanish, without limitations or assistance.
