Neighbors Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly-experienced, visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy. Neighbors FCU, is a prestigious $1.3 billion credit union based in Baton Rouge, LA. As CTO, you will spearhead our technological advancements and maintain our competitive edge in the rapidly evolving financial sector. You will drive innovation, manage technical teams, and ensure the successful execution of our technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap that is aligned with the credit union's mission and business goals.
• Lead the IT department, oversee infrastructure, cybersecurity, software development, and IT support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to define, prioritize and integrate technology solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Manage technology budgets and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
• Ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data through effective information security practices.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, development methodologies, and best practices.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize technology investments.
• Drive innovation by staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and knowledge sharing within the technology organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role in a technology-driven organization.
• Demonstrated experience and performance in IT strategy and digital transformation.
• Solid understanding of systems infrastructure, networking, and database management.
• Strong background in information security, cloud development, and managing software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Extensive knowledge of business intelligence, data warehousing, and data architecture principles.
• Proficiency in CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and other web development technologies.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
