Purpose
With oversight and guidance from the Director of Treasury & CFO, the Credit Manager will manage the Credit Risk, Collections and Accounts Receivable function for Roseburg Forest Products Co and all its affiliated companies. The Credit Manager will protect Roseburg assets by effectively monitoring customer accounts and lead the department functions. They will also build and enhance relationships with its customer/partners. The Credit Manager will maintain credit and collections in accordance with the existing credit policies and will provide efficient credit analysis for all customers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to all team members
Drive continuous improvement of credit risk management framework, including policies, tooling, and procedures, to improve the way we manage risk and increase efficiency to help scale our business
Assess and determine credit lines for new and existing customers using financial analysis, trade references, and credit reporting tools
Keep proper credit documentation on all credit decisions
Set goals and objectives for team members
Report Accounts Receivable status to leadership and commercial teams
Review delinquent accounts on a regular basis
Establish and implement procedures to achieve monthly collection goals: monitors collection activities and assists when appropriate
Develop and implement credit policy
Build and foster productive and collaborative relationships with Commercial, IT, Logistics and Compliance teams
Calculate Monthly Days Sales Outstanding

Required Qualifications
Dynamic and experienced finance professional with 6-10+ years of experience in Credit and Collections, Accounting, or Finance
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
Demonstrated strong people skills
Strong business acumen
Experience with trade references
Expert experience with financial statement analysis and ratio ratings
Strong analytical skills
Experience in large ERP systems.
Ability to establish and maintain a professional atmosphere
Travel as business necessitates
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business
