OPERATION HOURS -

Monday - Friday between 7:00am - 5:00pm


SALARY RATE -

Pay rate: $85,000 - $95,000 / year


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Familiarity with the specific industry in which the company operates, understanding industry-specific credit risks.
  • Previous experience managing a credit or finance team, demonstrating leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses.
  • Experience in developing and implementing credit policies that align with business objectives and comply with industry regulations.
  • Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate credit risks effectively.
  • Experience in managing relationships with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth credit processes.
  • Knowledge of collections processes and strategies to minimize delinquencies and maximize recoveries.
  • Familiarity with credit reporting agencies and the ability to interpret credit reports.
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory compliance related to credit management, including knowledge of fair lending practices.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

  • Responsible for leading, managing, and developing internal accountability by creating a high-performing Credit Analysts team.
  • Manage a team of Credit Analysts and ensure the efficient and timely completion of credit risk analysis.
  • Develop credit policies and procedures to ensure adherence to credit standards and regulations.
  • Compile reports producing data related to bad debt and accounts at risk.
  • Monitor credit risk and recommend appropriate strategies to minimize risk
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Identify and analyze market trends to develop credit policies that meet the changing needs of the organization
  • Train and mentor Credit Analysts
  • Prepare and present credit analysis reports to senior management
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely completion of credit analysis
  • Conduct periodic reviews of credit policies and procedures and recommend updates to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Review credit applications and make recommendations for approval or rejection


QUALIFICATIONS -

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in credit analysis, credit risk management, or related role
  • Proven track record of successful credit analysis and decision-making
  • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, database software, and other financial software
