POSTION OVERVIEW
The Credit Analyst analyzes current credit data and financial statements of individuals or companies to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for spreading, and analyzing credit information on current and potential borrowers.
- Produce financial spreads, repayment ability schedules, financial ratios, credit analysis reports, pro-formas, and other detailed written analyses in a timely manner and of such quality to assist the lender in identifying the unacceptable risk in a particular credit request or annual review of existing credits.
- Prepare complete credit packages for approval/denial.
- Prepare reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
- Meet with the commercial bankers on a regular basis to keep each other up-to-date on the credits you are working on.
- On occasion you will meet with the commercial bankers and their clients to obtain additional information needed to complete you credit analysis.
- Confer with credit association and other businesses representatives to exchange credit information.
- Compare liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of establishments being evaluated with those of similar establishments in the same industries and geographic locations.
- Interact with others (co-workers, management, clients, and vendors) in a professional and tactful manner including treating them with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to this role. Daily interaction with co-workers and team members is critical.
- Fulfill responsibilities under the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations. This includes identifying customers properly, initiating CTRs and SARs investigations as needed, utilizing OFAC records and maintaining appropriate records.
- Adheres to Bank’s policies and procedures and all Federal and State laws and regulations.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business required.
- Minimum three years of prior work related experience preferred.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITES
- General office environment that requires the extensive use of arms, hands, and fingers
- Frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, reach with arms and hands, stand, walk, stoop, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
