The Staff Pad is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to work for a growing healthcare staffing organization in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of healthcare experience, in roles equivalent to Physician Credentialing, Privileging, Quality Assurance, or within the healthcare staffing industry.
You will have the ability to quickly engage and develop relationships with hospitals and clients. Successful candidates must be extremely detail oriented, organized, be ableto prioritize and multi-task and have strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
**This is an in-office role**
JOBOVERVIEW:
· Process and analyze verification of physician qualifications presented by primary source verification of all licenses, highest level of education, and state board sanctions
· Prepare Medical Staff appointment applications and assist Medical Staff Office with verification process and obtaining required documents to obtain privileges
· Enrolling the physician in our clients Medical Malpractice program via Certificate of Insurance
· Maintain internal database by updating physician documents and credentials; keeping these organized by uploading into Salesforce in a timely manner and following naming structures
· Provide accurate and timely documentation of all privileging activities in Salesforce through the completion of the Quality Standards and privileging process
· Maintain communication with production team and physician throughout process
· Consistently adhere to follow-up communication standards to ensure timely completion of credentialing
· Use in place processes to track and follow up with expiring/missing credentials
· Be able to analyze credential documents and upload them with correct naming in our system
· Utilize DocuSign to send out/receive specific onboarding items
