Hybrid: Experity offers Team Members the opportunity to work remotely or in an office. While this position allows remote work, we require Team Members to live within a commutable distance from one of our locations to ensure you are available to come into the office as needed.

Job Type:Full Time

Compensation: Budgeted $44,720 - $60,000 dependent upon experience

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure continuous compliance with all Joint Commission (TJC) standards, as related to credentialing, to maintain the Company’s accreditation status.
  • Organize and maintain credentialing file for each doctor to include specific list of documents required by TJC and Company policy.
  • Maintain database of state license and insurance information for all physicians to ensure that all are current and active.
  • Maintain credentialing-related shared documents utilized by various departments within the Company.
  • Assign physician PACS user privileges and set filters for new providers and license or modality changes.
  • Serve as Administrator for MD-Staff credentialing software and act as first-line support for other Company users. Collaborate on maintenance of MD-Staff credentialing tasks and database.
  • Administrator of NPDB account, responsible for querying government database for verification purposes.
  • Manage and complete new license applications (both individual and IMLC), communicate with provider, act as a liaison to state medical licensure boards, and follow-up on additional tasks until license is issued.
  • Manage and complete all license renewals and assist with document preparation for the Chief Medical Officer.
  • Prepare initial and reappointment privilege letters for review and signature by Leadership.
  • Process subpoenas and records requests in accordance with company policy and HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintain database of current and past malpractice case information.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports for collaboration with associated teams. Purposes include sharing of data with facilities, capacity planning, and other ad hoc reporting, as requested.
  • Prepare monthly expense reports for Accounting team.
  • Assist in development of Credentialing/Licensing budget and maintain appropriate records of related expenses, including physician reimbursements for licensing costs.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • At least five years of experience in healthcare credentialing.
  • At least five years of experience using a PACS system.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Experience with medical credentialing software (MD-Staff preferred).
