Job Description
The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) is seeking a Temporary Credentialing Processing Specialist. This is a state position governed by the Civil Service Rules, in state government located in Oklahoma City, OK. This position will not exceed 999 worked hours in the appointment. The hourly salary for this position is $18.00.

Position Summary
The Credentialing Processing Specialist - Temporary works to support the Licensing Department in review of cannabis professional credentials. This position will determine approval of applications and credentialing within guidelines established within the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA), process mail, and ensure accuracy and deadlines are met.
Position Responsibilities /Essential Functions
Processes credential applications for all cannabis professionals and determines eligibility for credential as required by state laws and rules.
Works under the direct supervision of the OMMA Credentialing Coordinator to review applications for credentials for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility.
Processing applications includes critical analysis of documentation and may include additional investigation to determine eligibility pursuant to applicable laws and rules making determinations and recommending final action.
Critical analysis and oversight on applications must be complete within a mandated timeframe.
Validates application materials and verifies complex documents for accuracy.
Notify supervisor and document further investigations needed escalating high priority concerns.
Assist customers and program management with highly confidential and protected information.
Enters and retrieves information and data across multiple platforms and systems.
Works directly with Program Manager and Coordinator to provide feedback and seek clarification effectively communicating and ensuring a collaborative and team-based work environment.
Develop and maintain sound personnel policies and practices.
Meet daily quotas as set forth by the Licensing Manager.

Education and Experience
Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum of four years of experience in a clerical setting working through detail-oriented processes and data review.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required at this level include knowledge of methods and procedures concerning public contact; of telephone procedures; and of spelling, punctuation, grammar, and arithmetic. Knowledge of the program or services being provided; of laws and rules concerning program or services being provided; and techniques software and functionality. Skill is required to operate various office equipment including computers and phone system. Ability is required to work with customers; to gather data and facts; to keep records; and to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Work is typically performed in an office setting with a climate-controlled settings and exposure to moderate noise level. While performing the duties of the job, employee is required to talk, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. This position requires long period of sitting and daily use of computer and phone. Minimal (10%) in state travel required. Applicants must be willing to perform all job-related travel associated with this position.
