Description

Plan, coordinate, and assure accurate technical assessments of cost of raw and productive materials using Teamcenter Vismockup, Teamcenter Product Cost Management (TcPCM), and GMCO$T tools for GM electrical component designs from inception to production, applying principles of activity-based costing (ABC), target costing, and benchmark costing methodologies. Estimate cost of electrical components including wiring harnesses, metal brackets, plastic components; coaxial, antenna, Universal Serial Bus (USB), battery, and high voltage (HV) cables; 12V & 48V lithium-ion batteries, and battery trays. Calculate materials and time required to engineer, manufacture, and assemble electrical components. Calculate tool fabrication cost for stamping dies and injection molds using Teamcenter Product Cost Management (TcPCM), GMCO$T, and Siemens NX with consideration of hours required for design, Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programming, machining, Electric Discharge Machining (EDM) programming, mechanisms, steel type, blocks, plates, rails, lifters, slides, inserts, core pulls, hot runner system, cold sprue, cylinder, manifolds, coatings, tryouts, and transportation.                                                                                                                                   

Additional Description

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering. Twelve months’ experience as Engineer or related.  Must also have experience with planning and assuring accurate technical assessments of cost of raw and productive materials using Teamcenter Vismockup for OEM electrical component designs from inception to production, applying activity-based costing (ABC) methodology, and estimating cost of electrical components including wiring harnesses, and coaxial, antenna and USB cables.
