We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Corporate Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the financial operations of our organization. You will be responsible for financial analysis, financial statement preparation, bank reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with corporate finance regulations. The ideal candidate has paired their knowledge of corporate accounting with project accounting, which drives financial analysis, insights, and understanding.
Experience:
- Responsible for month-end financial close process
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts
- Responsible for various journal entries, including deferred rent, depreciation/amortization, accruals, and etc.
- Compile consolidated financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, equity statement and cash flow statement
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Review and provide in-depth analysis on project revenues, costs, budget and variances
- Conduct monthly financial reviews with management
- Assist in various audits including financial, overhead, and project audits
- Compile financial report and ad hoc reports as needed
- Improve and enhance processes and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA required
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experiences in public and/or private industry; required
- Experience with leasing accounting ASC 842
- Strong knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Deep familiarity with accounting process and procedure, and internal controls
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Construction, Architecture and Engineering industry experience or relevant experience highly preferred
