POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Associate will play a pivotal role in providing accounting and treasury support to the Corporate Finance department. This multifaceted position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to the overall financial strategy and stability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute and oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including financial reporting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Proactively follow up slow-moving assets and liabilities.
- Monitor purchase requisitions and process purchase orders
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Finance, and Operations.
- Engage in projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing financial processes and efficiency.
- Process payments, monitor banking activities, and optimize cash flow processes.
- Support and/or administer standby LC and loan renewal process.
- Other duties and special projects, as requested by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-years’ experience in accounting or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
- Proficient in accounting software
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proactive problem solver with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
