Job Description
- Monthly financial statements reporting; and help identify the best strategy for organizing and monitoring.
- Journal Entries and preparation of monthly income statement and balance sheet; quarterly and yearly consolidated financial reports for management review.
- Corporate Government Survey Reporting.
- General bookkeeping and organize financial forms, documents and receipts as needed; including preparing bank reconciliations and various account analysis as requested.
- Help in the multi-company annual budget process.
- Prepare documentation for external auditors.
- Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy.
- Organize and update financial records.
Required Education/Experience:
- A 4-year Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- At least 5 years’ experience in accounting.
- Very good knowledge of new US GAAP.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficient in SAGE 200/Hyperion Enterprise.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel - (V Look Up).
- Has worked with consolidating Software in a multi-company setting.
- Knows and has been responsible for a Company’s month end close procedures.
- Licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus but not required.
Competencies:
- Bilingual (Spanish a PLUS) - Strong English Communication skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to read and analyze financial reports.
- Professional experience working with confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks and meet timely obligations.
- Knowledge of accounting processes and advanced mathematical skills.
- Skilled using various accounting software and experience in troubleshooting common accounting program problems.
- Personal integrity when working with personal and sensitive financial information.
- Experience with International Accounting and Manufacturing Companies a plus.
- Stays current with the changing rules in accounting.

Typical office environment, mostly indoor office environment with windows, offices with equipment noise, offices with frequent interruptions.
