About the Role:
As the Corporate Filing Specialist, you will report to the Sr. Manager of Entity Services and serve as the team lead & point of escalation for the Business Solutions Advisors team. You will routinely partner with various other teammates across Onboarding, Sales, Member Relations, Legal, Product, Engineering, Tax, and Accounting/Finance.
You are an expert in business entity formation in all 50 states (specifically LLCs & S Corp elections), foreign registrations, domestications, conversions, and dissolutions across all states. You combine this expertise with a keen interest in educating yourself, your co-workers, and our members. You are open to change with a focus on collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboratively guide a team of Business Solutions Advisors, ensuring they effectively establish new businesses for our members, including filing documents with state and federal agencies and ensuring compliance for existing entities.
- Setting up the foundation of our members' new business and ensuring their business is set up correctly, filing documents with both the state and the IRS, and ensuring members joining with existing entities are compliant
- Navigating various state department websites, analyzing federal and state documentation, and calling those departments when needed to resolve issues.
- Smoothly transitioning members when they depart Collective.
- Work alongside and help lead a team of Business Solutions Advisors whose primary responsibilities include:
- Act as a primary escalation point for complex business formation and verification issues during member onboarding, leading the team through uncharted problems and innovative solution development.
- Coordinate foreign registrations, domestications, conversions, and dissolutions as required.
- Forge partnerships with Sales, Member Relations, Legal, Product, Engineering, Tax, and Accounting teams, as well as 3rd Party Providers such as Registered Agents and Business License Providers.
- Drive innovation within the team to enhance capacity and streamline processes
- Oversee the payment processing system for various requests, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Proficiently use Salesforce, Front, Slack, Google Suite, Collective Internal Platform, Confluence, Zoom, Adobe, Microsoft Office, and other software applications.
- Regularly update documentation to reflect process improvements or changes in filing procedures.
- Generate, analyze, and monitor reports in Salesforce and other internal systems.

- Experience working for a registered agent company is a plus.

What we offer in return:
Compensation Range: $90,000-$110,000 USD annual base salary.
The salary ranges for the roles are posted for your convenience and review. Please understand that if an offer is presented, the offer compensation package will be based on the relevant position related skills a candidate demonstrates during our formal interview process.
