JOB SUMMARY
The Analyst, Supply Analytics is responsible for developing the operational models needed to satisfy Cresco's wholesale customer demand. This role serves as a key contact for Operations and Commercial leadership, providing transparency to production targets across time horizons, including near-term cost & capacity modeling. This role will also play a key part in shaping the company's capital agenda, supporting the modeling of future site expansion, and integrating state-by-state strategies into long-term supply versus demand.
This role will collaborate with management at both the site level and the corporate level, to gather and use information to develop the plans necessary to meet critical business goals for cost and service. This role will mostly be remote, with opportunity for in-market visits and time in Cresco's corporate office.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Identify risks and opportunities with Cresco's cultivation and production plans and recommend potential solutions to mitigate long-term operational risk
- Serve as a direct point of contact for Operations leadership in reviewing internal and external (e.g., BDSA) data sources, supporting the need for SKU optimization and expansion, as well as optimizing production feasibility within local market realities
- Identifies opportunities and recommends changes for optimizing raw, WIP and finished good inventory levels for all major product groups – e.g., edibles, vapes, concentrates, pre-rolls, and premium flower
- Independently analyze data to determine supply gaps and make recommendations to Management for corrective action plans to mitigate risk
- Proactively analyze gaps in supply vs. demand targets and work with cross functional teams to develop action and risk mitigation plans
- Provide insight and expertise on production plans and targets to ensure transparency and interpretability to an executive audience, identifying areas of opportunities, risk, and implications of certain business decisions
- Maintain, integrate, and analyze data across various systems to facilitate inventory and capacity management, customer demand, cultivation, extraction, and operational metrics, informing recommendations and decisions
- Develop and execute long term modelling and/or scenario plans to identify capacity impacts and escalate to stakeholders
- Work cross functionally with operations and other departments to resolve capacity challenges and production issues. Give data driven recommendations on alternative plans and solutions to meet company needs in cultivation, extraction, manufacturing, supply chain and other functions
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2-5 years' experience in financial analysis, consulting, operations, strategy, or related field
- Experience / understanding of operations and supply planning concepts, in theory and in reality
- Logical approach to problem solving, analytics, planning, and the ability to flex between "big picture" understanding and a detailed analysis
- Fluent in synthesizing large and disparate datasets to identify key implications and to then tell a story of your findings in a clear, concise, and visually appealing presentation
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, conditional formatting, etc.) required; Knowledge of SQL, Python, Tableau or similar is a plus.

COMPENSATION
In accordance with any local and state compensation laws, the estimated range of compensation is $70,000 - $75,000 [+ bonus eligible]. Final offer details and future compensation may be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to, geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience and other relevant factors.
