Gong is looking for an exceptional copywriter to join our growing Content team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing compelling content that helps to attract, educate, and convert revenue leaders – all while upholding the Gong brand narrative and voice. You will work cross-functionally to bring content to life, interpreting briefs and product messaging frameworks to produce long-form guides, thought leadership, blog posts, customer case studies, social, emails, web copy, ad copy, and more. You are an expert writer who can translate messaging into headlines and stories that captivate readers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write, write, write! You’ll create content across a variety of platforms and formats, from blog posts and guides to social media and landing pages
• Know revenue leaders and sellers alike in order to develop compelling copy (without buzzy business jargon) to successfully engage those personas at different stages of the customer lifecycle
• Understand the critical role copy plays in campaigns, acting as a key custodian of the Gong brand narrative to generate awareness and engagement
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to interpret direction and feedback in order to execute projects successfully
• Manage multiple projects and timelines to deliver quality content on time

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of proven copywriting experience and results with preferred experience in the revenue technology industry
• A robust portfolio showcasing strong branded content across formats and channels
• Exceptional writing, editorial, and communication skills – you know when to amp up tone but never sacrifice core voice
• Innovator who isn’t afraid to challenge conventional wisdom and take risks with copy approaches
• Passion for writing about technology innovation and distilling complex concepts into engaging content
• Strong collaborator who is easy to work with across teams
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize, and get things done
• Comfortable with making data-backed decisions to improve content development
• Seasoned knowledge and appetite to learn emerging copywriting tactics, SEO best practices, and AI copywriting technology

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $106,000 - $125,000 USD.

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
