Job Summary and Qualifications

Contracts Administrator assists Division Director Physician Contract Administration in the respective HCA division and facilities’ physician contracting process for professional and administrative service agreements. Assists with record keeping, obtaining appropriate internal approvals, finalizing and maintaining new and existing agreements and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Establishes and maintains relationships between the division contracting department and facility administration, legal counsel, and other relevant parties as needed. Generates reports and tracking systems for tracking the physician contracts inventory. Assists in maintenance and integrity of the Physician Contract management database (master control log) for the division, and uses the database system to produce physician agreements within the respective division or hospital. Assists and participates in education and coordination with executive hospital leaders and/or local contract administrators (regularly). Drafts Agreements as assigned.

The majority of work performed will be at the Mountain Division Office and in a home office environment and requires prolonged sitting, bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment. A large portion of this job consists of regular, daily communications with facility and division contracting personnel, operations counsel, and others, utilizing telephonic and online meeting platforms, such as Web Ex, Zoom, etc. Must be able to lift and carry 15–25 pounds, reach and stretch above and below shoulder level. Must be able to perform the job while sitting down approximately 85% of the time, a portion of the remaining 15% will require standing/walking. Must be able to handle medium to high levels of stress and volatile situations. Requires corrected hearing and vision to within functional ranges.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • One (1) year healthcare industry experience.

  • One (1) year contract management experience.
  • Two (2) years executive administrative assistant experience.
  • Paralegal experience, preferred.
