Contract Attorney

 As one of the nation’s largest legal staffing providers, Hire Counsel has an immediate opportunity for barred attorneys to work with a top law firm on a remote project.

Responsibilities Include:

• Investigative work
• Deadline management,
• Basic drafting projects on a large docket of litigation 
• Fact analysis and development
• Witness preparation
• Create privilege logs
• Identify key information and effectively communicate findings to the associates and staff attorneys

Project Details:

• Anticipated start date: Upon Successful Completion of Interview
• Estimated duration: 6 months (with possibility to go longer)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Location: Remote
• Pay rate: $129 per hour

Qualifications:

• JD/LLM from a U.S. accredited law school
• Must be active and admitted in the State in which you reside
• Fact analysis and development on large litigation
• Consulting with witnesses and preparing them for depositions
• Reliable, highspeed internet access, dedicated office space & either a PC with Windows 10 or higher or a MAC with Mojave 10.14 or higher
