Contract Research Attorney For Boutique Los Angeles Law Firm

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Attorney specializing in legal research to join our team on a flexible, as-needed basis. The Attorney will be responsible for conducting thorough legal research, drafting memos and briefs, and providing insightful analysis on a variety of legal issues.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research on various topics, including case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Analyze and synthesize legal documents and materials.
• Draft memos, briefs, and other legal documents as needed.
• Assist in case preparation and strategy development.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of research tasks.

Qualifications:

• Admission to the California bar is required.
• 5-10 years of legal research and writing experience, preferably in a Law Firm setting.
• Strong research skills and proficiency in legal research databases such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to work varying hours and accommodate West Coast time zone requirements.

Pay $50-75/hr DOE.
