Position: Content / Media Specialist
Department: Marketing
Job Summary:
Compiles content for all advertising, public relations, social media,
and direct marketing distribution both internally and externally. Serves as the central
point of communication between Graphic Design and internal departments to
coordinate projects. Responsible for communicating design project updates including project delays and potential missed and extended deadlines to Marketing Manager/Marketing Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gathering monthly promotions from internal departments for use in direct mail and advertising efforts
- Coordinate flow of content internally to maintain accurate and current information
- Coordinate content for weekly memo for internal communications
- Coordinate content and placement for Back-of-House internal communication.
- Coordinate and organize content needed for monthly general mailer and direct mail pieces needed by design team to meet deadlines.
- Assist in the management of timelines and deadlines for creation, production, and trafficking of internal signage
- Manage logs of internal traffic ensuring current information is displayed at, all times on all available locations
- Provide quality assurance checks weekly to ensure on floor signage is consistent with traffic logs
- Assist the Graphic Design Team in the daily servicing of their customers, work andsupport on an as needed basis.
- Coordinating projects by monitoring daily tasks, providing status reports, and communicating with designers to ensure they have what they need to produce work in a timely manner
- Proofreading data and materials
- Maintains branding efforts and consistency through printed collateral that is placed by non-marketing departments
- Along with Design Supervisor/Marketing Manager assist in monitoring social media online assets and activity on, a daily basis from the calendars.
- Maintains branding efforts and consistency throughout social media/PR content being distributed.
- Creates work orders when needed in, order to meet deadlines
- Provides administrative assistance and support to the Marketing team
- Organizes and processes marketing Purchase orders and estimates to completion
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

- Ability to work well with internal team to keep projects prioritized, on schedule and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of social media/digital marketing, basic terminology, needs and fundamental understanding of the role/purpose of social media/digital marketing
- Passion for learning, self-motivated and willing to take initiative
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills required

- Commitment to teamwork and the ability to collaborate with peers and senior management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school or General Equivalency Diploma and a minimum 6 month's experience working in an advertising agency, marketing, or media coordination experience in a professional environment.
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
- One year of professional project management experience
- Two years of experience managing teams
