We are seeking a talented and experienced Content Marketing Manager with a strong focus on SEO. This individual will play a key role in developing and implementing effective content strategies that drive organic traffic, enhance brand visibility, and contribute to overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy Development:
- Design and execute a comprehensive Content Marketing strategy aligned with business goals and SEO best practices
- Conduct thorough keyword research, ICP, and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities
- Content Creation and Optimization:
- Work with copywriters to produce high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for various channels, including blog, website pages, and social media
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and SEO objectives
- On-Page and Technical SEO:
- Implement on-page SEO best practices to enhance content discoverability and search engine rankings
- Work closely with the development team to address technical SEO issues and improve website performance
- Link Building and Outreach:
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase the domain authority of our website
- Establish relationships with industry influencers, bloggers, and other relevant partners for collaborative content initiatives
- Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze key SEO metrics using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and SEMrush
- Provide weekly reports on content performance, outlining successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvement
- Stay Abreast of Industry Trends:
- Stay informed about industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to adapt content strategies accordingly
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Content Marketing Manager for a SaaS company with a strong focus on SEO
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, Google algorithms, and the latest trends
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an ability to create content that resonates with target audiences
- Proficient in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Google Search Console
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing freelancers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
