About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor’s Degree required; or equivalent combination of work experience and education
- 3 years of experience solving problems and using analytical skills
It would be great if you also had…
- Capacity to quickly gaining, an understanding of how the book industry works and the uses of bibliographic data
- Proficiency with Excel and Access especially with creating, importing and exporting documents in various file formats
- Experience with Windows operating systems and search engines.
- Demonstrated organizational abilities
- Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to learn new skills as required by changes in work environment
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan, analyze and solve problems creatively, flexibly, and resourcefully

- Excellent understanding of English language, oral and written
- Aptitude for metadata standards and issues, electronic resource management, and emerging technologies
What will you be doing in this role?...
- Review and process production files supplied by content providers to ensure data quality and timely ingestion into global content management system
- Analyze, test, and promote new files providing feedback to data supplier
- Reconcile any questionable data content and format, and communicates the correct requirements to the publisher
- Recognize and recommend future training guidelines when needed
- Prepare and maintain stats for timely reporting as needed
- Reconcile data provider hierarchies to ensure accurate and timely content ingest
- Identify system inefficiencies and/or error states and create stories for remediation development
- Work on special projects as required in support of business needs
Hours of Work
- Full time, permanent
- Although duties are typically performed during normal business hours, occasional off-hours may be required
- This is hybrid position
