We create and implement enterprise software that supports the administration of justice, currently in the United States, Canada, and Australia. While our eSeries product suite enables governments and their employees to deliver continued foundational court processes, our R&D focuses on leveraging emerging possibilities with technology to improve access and efficiency.
Content Creator:
We are searching for a driven, detail-oriented Content Creator to produce high-quality outputs for our business. Our Content Creator will be responsible for generating and developing original content that meets the needs and desires of a specific target audience. The Content Creator's goal is to generate traffic, leads, and engagement for Journal Technologies, and establish us as a thought leader and expert in the LegalTech space.
Responsibilities:
- Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company emails, websites, blogs, marketing materials, videos, podcasts, graphics, etc. for various audiences (external customers, internal staff).
- Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualizing your findings.
- Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
- Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive research on industry-related topics to create informative and credible content.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data from various sources to provide valuable insights in content.
- Able to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
- Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.
- Optimize content for SEO to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings
- Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.
- Analyzing content performance using data analytics tools to measure engagement and make improvements.
- Staying updated with industry trends, news, technologies, and best practices in content creation.
- Adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining consistency in tone, voice, and style across all content.
- Use content management systems to upload and publish content
- Expert in creating and executing multi-touch, multi-channel marketing programs that leverage inbound and outbound tactics.
- Ability to navigate a fast-changing environment and build things from the ground up.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in marketing and communications.
- Experience creating strong and engaging content.
- Excellent writing and editing skills and an expert in creating language, and content strategy.
- A portfolio of applicable outputs; experience in B2B a plus; experience in B2G preferred
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for formatting and embedding content.
- An understanding of SEO best practices.
- Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with other departments, such as marketing or design, to align content goals and strategies.
- Expert in creating and executing multi-touch, multi-channel marketing programs that leverage inbound and outbound tactics.
- Ability to navigate a fast-changing environment and build things from the ground up.
Nice to have:
- Experience with tools like Hubspot, Canva, Webflow, Adobe Creative Suite a plus, but not required.
- Ability to write for a variety of different mediums (ex: blog, email, newsletter) and adjust style and tone accordingly.
- Ability to write compelling narratives that align with our brand identity and marketing goals.
