JOB DESCRIPTION
We are a growing Treehouse construction company looking to bring on a Project Manager to expand with us. Most of our work is prefabricated in our Petaluma based warehouse. In shop we build wall panels and components for sculptural treehouses that often have odd angles and building methodologies. We install custom structures around the Bay Area and occasionally out of state. Our Project Managers work full time in our warehouse office, joining our daily morning meetings, and interface very actively with the entire company throughout the work day.

Project Manager Role Responsibilities & Expectations
As a Project Manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.
- Plans, schedules, and coordinates multiple treehouse projects at once.
- Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Develops project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensures resource availability and allocation
- Manages logistics
- Develops a detailed project plan to track progress
- Uses appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Reports and escalates to management as needed
- Manages the relationship with the client
- Establishes procedures that improve project organization
- Performs risk management to minimize project risks
- Establishes and maintains relationships with third parties/vendors
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation
- Generally oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRED SKILLS
- Well organized with a positive and motivated attitude towards work and problem solving.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES ARE A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED...
Entry level to expert knowledge of rigging, and residential construction materials and methods
Ability to navigate and translate computer modeling / design to construction
Experience in the field of custom home construction
Excellent technical skills from project concept through construction
Degree or certification/s in related field
MUST HAVE
Valid California Driver's License

Weekday availability
Must be willing to work full time in Petaluma and occasionally on job site (greater Bay Area) on a contract basis with a two week trial basis to start to ensure we are a good match.
