Heffler Contracting Group (HCG) is searching for a talented leader to join our team as a Project Manager. We are a Vertical and Horizontal General contractor who primarily builds and contracts with Military and Federal agencies throughout the western states.

Position: Manage Construction Projects by performing the following duties and responsibilities as an integral part of a Project Management team. Position may require you to manage one or more projects concurrently at multiple government facilities throughout California, AZ, NV, UT. Project size ranges from $4M to $75M.
Classification (Exempt/Non-Exempt): Exempt
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage all Contractor on-site construction activities as the designated Project Manager
· Report to and direct Project Team on all elements of risk associated with scope, schedule, and budget.
· Monitor daily work activities of Contractor to ensure proper adherence to job site safety policies and procedures.
· Coordinate with direct all Contractor's to maintain the project schedule to avoid potential delays, achieve milestones and meet completion dates.
· Develop, evaluate, and maintain all project schedules.
· Direct the work of employees and /or subcontractors assigned to the project.
· Manage meetings and correspondence with customers.
· Always Represent Heffler Contracting with honesty and integrity
· Always engage with all clients, personnel, subcontractors, etc. with respect and professionalism
· Manage all monthly pay requests to client on time.
· Manage all Administration, Subcontracts, Schedules, Invoicing, WIP, etc.
· Manage all project teams to ensure timely coordination of submittals, requests for information (RFI’s) and plan revisions.
· Participate in value engineering alternative solutions with Owner, Designer and Contractor
· Monitor and inspect work progress for quality control and quality assurance; identify and resolve problem issues in a timely manner.
· Manage the Preparation of all daily field observation reports and monthly reports along with progress photo documentation.
· Participate in weekly progress meetings; review pay applications; review and resolve change order requests; assist with closeout/turnover activities.
Experience and Qualifications:
· MUST HAVE PROVEN FEDERAL CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE
· MUST have a Minimum (8) years field construction experience working as a Project Manager
· Expertise in Large Vertical Building Construction
· Expertise in WORKING WITH NAVFAC, USACE, NASA, DHS, USAF
· Expertise in reading and interpreting project plans and specifications.
· MUST HAVE Proven experience working with USACE, NAVFAC, USAF
· MUST be organized and capable of managing several projects simultaneously.
· MUST be capable to Manages difficult situations and multiple projects simultaneously.
· MUST be detailed, tenacious with follow up, and have the great ability to resolve issues that arise during a project.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer skills
· Excellent written/communication skills and ability to work well with others.
· Must at times be willing to travel at times to visit project sites and meet federal clients.
· Must pass pre-employment drug test/physical/background check.
