Responding to regular locate requests received from Utility Notification Center of Colorado (UNCC).
Leading a city wide valve exercising program.
Reviewing plans and specifications on assigned projects.
Ensuring conformance to City standards and specifications for the development of public and private facilities.
Assist the Engineering Department with right-of-way (ROW) inspections.
Serve as the Meter Reader backup.

Requirements include: High School graduation or equivalent, plus three years of experience in construction inspection, utility locates, or related work. College or technical experience in construction management, methods and materials used is desirable. Must have knowledge of UNCC Rules and Regulations and strong communication skills. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Must have a valid Colorado Drivers License with a good driving record at time of hire (current motor vehicle record (MVR) will be required from applicants selected for interviews). Must be a team player and progressive thinker who can generate innovative ideas and assist others with improvements of daily processes.
Starting Salary Range: $59,631 - $71,557/year DOQ (Full salary range: $59,631-$88,483)
