Construction Field Assistant – Residential

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Construction Field Assistant to support a wide range of construction projects from start to finish.

You will work closely with Project Manager to organize and maintain schedule concerning jobsite procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the construction industry, great organizational skills, and strong communication skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget while offering an excellent client experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of construction project from planning to completion
• Visit assigned job sites daily as directed.
• Pickup and deliver materials as needed to job sites.
• Evaluate progress and communicate to Project Manager regarding project status.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
• Follow up with Buildertrend schedules & confirm schedule items.
• Need to complete Buildetrend training within 2 weeks of starting job for field crew certification.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the construction industry
• Excellent communication, organizational problem-solving and time-management skills
• A team player
• Able to manage multiple projects and/or tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods, as the role involves constant movement on construction sites. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable with climbing ladders, scaffolding, or other structures as needed to perform tasks and inspections.

Pay: $41,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
