Did you know it takes about seven seconds for someone to form a first impression? Our friendly, welcoming concierges are often the first person someone sees when they visit our community. Walker Methodist Plaza is recruiting for a part-time concierge to interact with residents, family members, visitors, and staff in a respectful manner while providing the highest level of customer service. Responsibilities include daily interaction with residents, family members, and visitors via in-person or phone. The concierge is the first point of contact for visitors and phone calls to this community.
Schedule:
- Tuesdays 4pm-8pm
- Every other Wednesday and Friday 4pm-8pm
- Weekend availability
- Rotating holidays
Minimum qualifications:
- High level of professionalism and personal standard of a positive attitude, behavior, and appearance
- Communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service with the ability to speak clearly and distinctly
- Sensitivity to resident needs and the ability to build positive relationships
- Prioritize, organize, problem solve, and meet deadlines and goals
- Deal with emergencies calmly and effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate computer skills
- One year of experience in a receptionist/customer service-related position
- Ability to live Walker Methodist's customer service principles
